NFL Market Share Production

Metric Recommendation: Brandon Marshall has proven to be one of the best wide receiver in the NFL throughout his career. He has an insane combination of size and athleticism. The only question going forward is whether his best days are behind him? Or he has a few more elite or near elite production years left. I’d say you pay him what his three-year average production has behind with a few hedges in case he falls off the cliff.

Thus, I’d recommend a salary of 13,578,750 adjusting for the salary cap increase. That isn’t the highest anticipated WR salary going forward. But Marshall is such a freak in terms of size and skill that he has a good shot of being very good for another couple of seasons.
