*MSA Rating: The average score of a prospect’s market share production, strength of schedule and age percentile scores

*Explosive Lower Body Strength Score: A score formulated from a prospect’s vertical, broad jump and mass density measured against all his positional peers since 1998.

*Speed Score: A score formulated from a prospect’s 40-yard dash and mass density measured against all his positional peers since 1998.

*Flexibility Score: A score formulated from a prospect’s short shuttle, 3-Cone and mass density measured against all his positional peers since 1998.

Metric Analysis: Tim Williams has a poor data profile. He’s an older prospect with below average production except for TFL market share. Part-time player excuses aside, it was very suspect production. And to finish it off, he had below average explosiveness and flexibility for size. Where he also put up very poor agility times.

But, there is some hope in his above average speed score. He has an eerily similar combination of athleticism traits to Paul Kruger. A player whose career arc at the NFL level would not be a bad result for Tim Williams. I’d project Williams as purely a backup to rotational Edge. However, he could have a moment or two where his fans will say I told you so.

ATH Comp: Paul Kruger
