Metric Analysis: If there ever was a good version of Matt Kalil. It’d be Marshall Newhouse. He lacks explosiveness that makes him a liability to most pass rushers with better get off. But his speed and flexibility make him great in terms of maintaining leverage and getting to second level defenders. He’s always been a better fit at guard vs. tackle due to his lack of explosiveness. However, if you wanted Matt Kalil, this is the version you’d want to play around with in a low yard per attempt offense.
