Metric Recommendation: Jack Doyle fits most of the qualities of a starting NFL tight end. He doesn’t have enough athletic qualities to be a consistently above average tight end. However, he could be someone who is average, which is something some teams don’t have. Doyle can be a good addition in this free agency cycle. But I hope he doesn’t end up being overpaid for expectations his athletic profile can’t meet.
