Metric Recommendation: Dan Williams fits all the criteria for a starting nose tackle, but doesn’t have one aspect of his athleticism to make him an elite or special one. He fails to hit the age threshold coming in as well. However, the big thing is to just realize what Dan Williams is. He is a nose tackle. If you have a scheme that requires a nose tackle, he can bring lots of value if he can get back to 2012-15 form.

However, if you don’t run  3-4 scheme, or a position that requires two gapping. Then he will just sit as a rotational/situational player like he was in Oakland. I still believe Williams can add lots of value as a run stopping nose. But a new team could do wonders for his usage going forward.
