Metric Recommendation: For a center who literally checks almost all the boxes. And only misses one box by about 2 percentiles. Tretter should be one of the most sought after centers in free agency for one main reason. Scheme versatility. Without any athletic liabilities, you can do anything with Tretter and be very successful.

It’s what most don’t understand about offensive line metrics. Is that there are many types of successful offensive line athletes, but few who regardless of scheme can find success. The set it and forget it strategy. And while Tretter has largely been a career backup up to this point. I would still view him as a high priority due to the potential.

I would recommend a salary of 867,687 to 1,244,206 putting him in starting center salary. That would be worth the risk in how few starts he’s had in the NFL. But the reward could be very high if he’s given an opportunity to start.
